New here?

Welcome to
Hope Church.

We're a community from all walks of life, who genuinely care for one another and for this city. Whether you've been a Christian for decades, you're just starting to ask questions, or you're simply curious — there is a place for you here.

Your first visit

What to expect

Coming for the first time can feel like a big step. Here's what a Sunday morning is really like — so you can walk in knowing what to expect.

Come as you are

There's no dress code and nothing to prepare. Wear what's comfortable — jeans and jumpers are just as welcome as anything else.

About 90 minutes

Our morning service runs around an hour and a half — a mix of sung worship, prayer, and a talk from the Bible, with coffee afterwards.

Easy to find & park

We meet at the Middle Brook Centre, just off the High Street. There's paid parking in the Middlebrook and Friarsgate car parks a moment's walk away.

Coffee from 9:30am

Doors open half an hour early for tea, coffee and a chance to say hello before things begin. You never have to sit alone.

Kids are welcome

There are age-appropriate groups for children during the service. Let a welcomer know you have little ones and they'll point you the right way.

You won't be singled out

You're free to simply come, watch and listen. No one will ask you to stand up, give money, or do anything you're not comfortable with.

Sundays at Hope

Sundays at Hope

We gather every Sunday morning at 10am to worship, pray and open God's Word together, then again in the evening at 7:30pm to go deeper. Whichever you come to, you'll find a warm welcome and a place to belong.

Here are a few easy, low-pressure ways to get to know us and meet people.

“We had a very warm welcome at Hope Church. As it is a big church, a lot of effort goes into integrating newcomers — there are so many groups you can join, events to go to and opportunities to serve, which help you meet new people and feel part of the church family very quickly. We were also invited to welcome lunches in homes, where we met other newcomers and established church members. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming.”
